Our Story

The STEAM Innovation Summer Institute is provided through the generous support of the Grable Foundation. The Institute is designed to assist districts in transforming education through innovation and to provide experiences for teachers that will become a springboard to a greater vision. The expectation for participating in the Institute is that participants must implement what they have learned in their classrooms or in after-school programs during the upcoming school year. Participants will report back to the Institute team twice during the year to help gauge the impact the Institute has had on teaching and learning. The information you provide will also provide the feedback we need for continuous improvement. We are dedicated to improving our services to you. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

To register for an inspired learning session please read the session descriptions and register using the Register Here tab located at the bottom of each page. Sessions are limited in size. Selection is on a first-come first-served basis. The registration fee for educators from Southwestern Pennsylvania, which has been offset by the Grable Foundation, is $35 per day. Counties in Southwestern Pennsylvania include: Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Armstrong, Washington, Westmoreland, Green, Fayette, Lawrence, and Mercer.  We are committed to serving every interested educator and learning enthusiast, therefore we continue to keep our costs down through the additional support of local sponsors.
